A trip to Drakensberg some years ago… I found the photo in my collection. Recalling my thoughts at that time, standing on this rock, I felt an indescribable stillness. Surrounded by the vastness of nature, I realized how small we are in front of creation, yet how deeply connected we are to it.

Merta is where Mirabai spent her early life before her marriage into the royal family of Mewar, and she holds a special place in my heart.
Her simplicity in saffron attire reflects renunciation and complete surrender.
The ektara in her hands represents her music and poetry, her chosen path of devotion and Krishna behind her, playing the flute, shows the eternal bond of the devotee and the Lord, where the Lord is always present for one who calls with pure love.
This picture beautifully expresses how Mirabai lived, her body in the world but her soul forever united with Krishna.

What inspired me most was seeing so many young people sincerely walking the spiritual path with joy and devotion. Last Sunday, it was not about performing, it was simply about singing in their temple, offering, and being part of that divine energy. Truly a blessing. Hare Krishna 🦚💙

Govind Kund at Govardhan is a deeply sacred and serene spot. It carries immense spiritual significance, as it is connected to the divine pastimes of Shri Krishna and the Govardhan Hill. Pilgrims often stop here during their Govardhan Parikrama to rest, pray, or reflect.

What I find most striking about Govind Kund is the atmosphere of stillness and devotion. The calm waters seem to hold the vibrations of centuries of prayer, kirtan, and remembrance of the Lord. Sitting here, I feel transported beyond time, it becomes less about sightseeing and more about entering a space of surrender and connection.

It’s a place where one can truly experience the blend of nature, history, and divinity, all harmoniously tied together in the sacred land of Braj.

As I passed under the flyover and turned, this beautiful wall painting greeted me, right beside the sugarcane juice wala. Everyone is caught up in their business, yet He silently watches over. The artist too has poured his heart into this painting, leaving behind a reminder that touches countless souls rushing through their day.

In every moment, through every action, we are reminded that He sees us, He protects us. Our duty is simple: to remember Him and never forget Him.
